The LymeHealHers Summit represents a measured source of inspiration and empowerment. Dr. Jaquel Patterson initially identified a gap in Lyme disease education, particularly in addressing the specific needs of women and children. Rather than lamenting the deficiency, she adopted the approach of "creating your own seat at the table," reaching out to two highly regarded Lyme experts, Dr. Lindsey Wells and Dr. Myriah Hinchey, both nationally recognized in their field.

Together, these three professionals conceptualized the LymeHealHers Summit, an innovative initiative aimed at addressing the educational and conversational gaps related to Lyme disease and tick-borne infections, with a specific emphasis on the challenges faced by women and their families. Their objective was not solely to rectify a noted deficiency in care but also to cultivate a community that thrives on knowledge, support, and understanding.

The summit convened over 20 esteemed female experts, forming a collective symphony of wisdom and expertise. These dedicated advocates for Lyme disease delved into the nuanced issues faced by women and children with steadfast commitment. Beyond addressing specific challenges, the summit also served as a valuable source of general education, disseminating crucial information to a broader audience.
